Real Housewives of Dubai

Bravo released their first international series of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise with the premiere of the ‘Real Housewives of Dubai’ on June 1st, 2022. This new series highlights a group of women in the United Arab Emirates and their relationships, careers, and lavish lifestyles.

The UAE is known for having customs and standards that go against common human rights issues in America. These include misogyny, homophobia, and violence against women. This group of women, most of whom are ex-pats, want to use this show to challenge the stereotypes of women living in the UAE.

The Real Housewives of Dubai displays more wealth than has ever been seen in the franchise and the cast features six diverse women.

Chanel also owns a makeup and skincare line called ‘Ayan Beauty by Toni Malt’. She has one son who has followed in her footsteps and is in the modeling industry.

Sara Al Madani was born and raised in the UAE. She is a single mother, entrepreneur, investor, and speaker. After starting her first successful business at the age of 15, she now owns multiple restaurants, a creative consulting firm, and launched a fashion line. She was also chosen by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammed Al Qassimi to be the youngest member of Sharjah’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Having been divorced twice, she faces the challenges of looking for love in a conservative city such as Dubai.
